University of Iowa Veterans Association Group


The University of Iowa Veterans Association (UIVA) group serves and connects alumni and students who share the common bond of military service. This group strengthens the community of Hawkeye veterans through social, educational, and service-oriented engagement opportunities. The UIVA is open to all alumni who are veterans. Members will receive e-newsletter updates and will be invited to participate in regional events.

Through this group you can:

  • Stay apprised of campus activities and discover resources available to veterans via campus organizations
  • Plan events with fellow veterans to reunite and share Hawkeye pride
  • Gather and share information about topics of interest through speakers and networking opportunities
  • Meet and connect with other Iowa veterans where you live
