Annually, more than 4,300 students receive privately funded scholarships. That means more than 13 percent of all students receive this life-changing support.
Donor-funded scholarships give Iowa's first-generation students—who make up nearly a quarter of undergraduates—the chance to fulfill their dreams.

You can help find new treatments and cures
Thanks to donors, we have world-class researchers working tirelessly to find treatments and cures for our largest health care challenges, including childhood disease, blindness, diabetes, and neurological diseases. Our donors help fund our top-ranked UI Stead Family Children's Hospital, allowing us to serve kids from across Iowa, the country, and the world—who all come here for exceptional care.
